How it works.
1. Intake
The intake process is thorough. It involves two steps: an intake with our psychiatrist or PMHNP and a thorough pre- and post-psychological assessment to measure your treatment outcome.
2. Preparation (1-2 days before)
To ensure a beneficial journey, we take time to outline what you can expect during your treatment. Our team will guide you through creating an optimal mindset for your sessions, setting your intentions and aftercare, and making the most of your time with us.
3. Exploration (Dosing Session: 2-3 hours)
During exploration sessions, you'll enter an altered state of consciousness. Clients describe feelings of deep relaxation, wonder, and a newfound capacity to explore challenging emotions and life experiences with the support of our highly skilled team.
4. Integration (1-2 days later)
In an altered, neuroplastic state, the brain is able to make new connections and rewrite learned patterns. Our skilled therapists help you draw out insights and ensure your gains from your Ketamine Exploration are sustained and integrated into your life, in order to prevent a relapse of your symptoms.4
5. Repeat
Our evidence-based treatment protocol involves six ketamine explorations paired under our KAP plan with supportive integration sessions. Throughout your journey, we personalize your ketamine dosage based on your comfort level, history, and tolerance to the medicine. We start with a low dose and slowly increase your dose throughout your journey to help you reach deeper breakthroughs.

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) takes a holistic approach to healing, tackling not just the symptoms, but also the negative thought patterns, lifestyle factors, trauma, coping skills, and chemical systems in the brain, allowing it to be highly effective where other treatments have failed.
There is mounting evidence to suggest that, by combining two dynamic, evidence-based tools – ketamine and therapy – improvements in depression severity are much longer-lasting.1
A few weeks of Ketamine Assisted Therapy can accelerate the therapeutic process, allowing you to achieve what you might after many years of traditional talk therapy. The introspective nature of KAP enhances emotional growth, overall well-being, and quality of life. -
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), is powerful but gentle. Unlike antidepressants, which help manage symptoms, Ketamine Assisted Therapy helps to get to the root of the problem so you can heal.
Ketamine opens the door to psychedelic exploration, allowing you to objectively revisit past events, life experiences, and traumas. When paired with the structure and support of talk therapy, you can process and understand these moments so that you can let go of some of the emotional attachments you might be stuck on. -
Ketamine has been found to be beneficial for a wide variety of symptoms, including depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, insomnia, as well as addiction.

In the US, a doctor’s referral is not required. During your initial assessment with our Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), we will determine if you are a good fit for our program.

Our clients report better-coping skills, feelings of self-love, an increase in positive body image, and deepened understanding of themselves after treatment. Some clients even report relief from chronic pain and physical discomfort. Though some clients have gone off of their medication after finishing their treatment with us, that may not be best for every client.
Ultimately, our program is meant to provide long-term relief from the pain of mental health conditions. Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy is a powerful tool for healing. -

Your medical needs and treatment plan is developed just for you. During your medical consultation and therapy intake, your medical team can address any concerns related to medications or substances.
Most antidepressants can be continued through the duration of treatment. We recommend avoiding some substances for 48 hours prior to your exploratory ketamine session unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor or cleared by our medical team. These include alcohol, cannabis, opioids, NSAID pain relievers, stimulants, sedative-hypnotics, benzodiazepines, and muscle relaxants. -
A comforting atmosphere, careful preparation, and intention setting will minimize any unpleasantness that might come up for you.
To start, a low dose of ketamine administered in your first session helps to get you familiar with the sensations and feelings. Due to the exploratory nature of ketamine, some clients face challenging emotions, memories, visions, and experience intense bodily sensations.
Often these difficult experiences provide an opportunity to process the events and emotions that have been contributing to challenges in your daily life. This is why having a therapist available during your psychedelic exploration is so valuable – they’re trained to help you navigate emotional pain and discomfort.
